What is grass-fed tallow moisturiser? Grass-fed tallow is rendered beef fat from grass-fed cattle in New Zealand. Its fatty acid profile closely mirrors human sebum, making it exceptionally well-absorbed. It's packed with fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K — all essential for healthy skin.
Is Daily Defence suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin? Daily Defence is free from parabens and sulphates. Because tallow mirrors your skin's own natural oils, most people — including those with sensitive or acne-prone skin — find it balancing rather than irritating. The formula contains a trace of parfum (less than 1%). If you have a fragrance sensitivity, a patch test is recommended.
How is tallow moisturiser different from regular moisturiser? Most conventional moisturisers rely on silicones and synthetic fillers to simulate the feeling of moisture. Daily Defence is built around grass-fed tallow — its fatty acid profile closely mirrors your skin's own sebum, so it absorbs readily and supports your natural barrier rather than sitting on top of it. Real nourishment, not a surface fix.
Can I use Daily Defence on my face? Absolutely. Daily Defence is designed for face and body. Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin. The rich texture absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy residue when used in the right amount.
Does it have a smell? Daily Defence has a light, clean scent. The formula contains a trace of parfum — less than 1% of the total formula. It fades quickly after application.
Does Daily Defence have an SPF rating? Daily Defence contains non-nano zinc oxide, which forms a physical mineral barrier on the skin. It is not TGA-registered as a sunscreen and does not carry a registered SPF rating. It does not provide sun protection — keep using your sunscreen.
How long does a bottle last? At 150ml, most customers get 2–3 months of daily use for face, neck and body. The formula is concentrated and absorbs quickly, so a little goes further than expected.
Is Daily Defence vegan? No. Daily Defence is made with grass-fed beef tallow, which is animal-derived. If you follow a vegan lifestyle, this product is not for you.
Where is the tallow sourced? The tallow comes from grass-fed cattle in New Zealand, selected for quality and rendered to a high standard. Daily Defence is made in Australia.
Is Daily Defence safe to use during pregnancy? We recommend checking with your healthcare provider before introducing new skincare during pregnancy. Daily Defence is free from parabens and chemical UV filters, but your doctor or midwife is best placed to advise based on your individual circumstances.
Can I use Daily Defence all over my body? Yes. Daily Defence is designed for face, neck and body. Apply to dry patches, lips and cuticles too. Some customers use it as their only daily moisturiser from head to toe.
