Is Daily Defence a sunscreen?
No. Daily Defence is not a registered sunscreen and it is not SPF tested. It is a daily moisturiser with a mineral skin barrier from non-nano zinc oxide.
What is non-nano zinc oxide?
Non-nano zinc oxide has a particle size larger than 100 nanometres, so it stays on the surface of your skin rather than absorbing into the body — a physical mineral barrier.
Is the tallow grass-fed?
Yes. We use New Zealand grass-fed beef tallow only. Its fatty acid profile closely mirrors the skin's own natural oils, which is why your skin absorbs it well.
Is Daily Defence made in Australia?
Yes. Every bottle of Daily Defence is formulated and made in Australia.
Does it smell like beef?
No. Refined tallow has no strong odour, and every bottle is lightly scented — Coconut & Lime or Strawberry — so it smells clean and fresh, never beefy.
Can I use it on my face and body?
Yes. Daily Defence is made for both — one bottle covers your face, neck and body.
