The story behind the bottle
It started with too many bottles.
Koa Shore grew out of my frustration with an overcomplicated skincare routine. I wanted something I could understand, enjoy using and reach for every day.
I began with grass-fed tallow. What I wanted next was a light cream that brought it together with non-nano zinc — one step for face and body, with a scent I enjoyed.
Made close to home.
Daily Defence is blended and filled in small batches on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Grass-fed tallow and 14% non-nano zinc sit at the heart of the formula, supported by MCT oil, olive oil and vitamin E.

The name behind the bottle.
Koa means warrior in Hawaiian. Shore brings it back to the coast, the salt and everyday life outside. Together, Koa Shore is daily care for skin that’s out in it.

Daily Defence is a cosmetic moisturiser with a mineral barrier. It is not a registered sunscreen.
